Cajón workshop with Maria de Huelva. This workshop is designed for beginners. No previous music experience required. You will learn the basics of cajón technique and flamenco rhythm.
Time: 1.30-3.00pm

Flamenco singing for beginners with María de Huelva. Join María for a warm, playful and accessible workshop where you will discover Flamenco through listening, singing, rhythm and musical connection. Inspired by Music Learning Theory (MLT), an approach that aligns naturally with the way Flamenco is traditionally learned — through listening, imitation, repetition and musical experience – this workshop invites you to learn music in a natural and engaging way. You will listen, absorb musical patterns and gradually find your own voice within them. You don’t need to read music or have previous experience with Flamenco singing. Just bring your curiosity and your voice! Guitarists are welcome to join the workshop at half price. This is a unique opportunity to accompany the singing, put your skills into practice, and experience the interaction between Flamenco voice and guitar in a supportive environment.

Flamenco guitar workshop with maestro José Almarcha organised by La Peña Flamenca de Londres. José is a superb guitarist and composer from Ciudad Real. He studied flamenco at Córdoba Conservatory of Music and with great flamenco masters such as Paco Serrano and Niño de Pura. He has accompanied dancers such as Olga Pericet, Marco Flores and Antonio Canales. After the excellent reception of his first album, Vejézate, he has released his new album, Alejandra, receiving wide critical acclaim. In recent months, José has been working with the legendary flamenco singer Carmen Linares.

Festive flamenco dance classes with Gemma de la Cruz. This year, on Friday and Sunday, Gemma will choreograph some Villancicos flamencos (Christmas carols) to a recorded piece of music. They are danced all over Spain throughout the month of December until 6 January. Enrol for individual classes, days or the whole weekend. Choreographies will be different each day. Priority will be given to people booking for a whole day. Advance payment required to secure your place. Discounts available.

Sunday to Thursday 27-31 December 2026
Five-day flamenco boot camp. Join Magdalena Mannion and Ollie Giffin for intensive dance technique, 5 hours each day. There are two levels, improver/elementary level and intermediate/advanced level, with places limited at each level so students will get lots of individual and specific feedback. Classes will focus on a range of techniques including movement and styling, bodywork and footwork drills, and coordination and rhythm exercises. With 25 hours of training over 5 days you will make quick and solid progress, gains in strength and speed of movement, and build more confidence.
Time: 11am-5pm each day (including breaks).
