Learn or refresh your Sevillanas. Sevillanas is danced at Ferias and at many festive gatherings – traditionally performed with a partner. This 8-week course with Carmen Igarza will teach you all you need to join in the fun at Feria.

Flamenco Guitar Masterclass with Antonio Sánchez – part of the Mosaic Series. Antonio Sánchez is a renowned flamenco guitarist and the nephew of the legendary Paco de Lucía. Master the art of accompanying flamenco singing. Ideal for beginner and intermediate players. This small-group session will help enhance your technical skills and deepen your understanding of flamenco rhythms. A guest flamenco singer will participate in the session. There is also the option of attending the masterclass online, and you’ll receive a recording of the session so you can review the material at your own pace.

Flamenco guitar workshop with maestro José Almarcha organised by La Peña Flamenca de Londres. José is a superb guitarist and composer from Ciudad Real. He studied flamenco at Córdoba Conservatory of Music and with great flamenco masters such as Paco Serrano and Niño de Pura. He has accompanied dancers such as Olga Pericet, Marco Flores and Antonio Canales. After the excellent reception of his first album, Vejézate, he has released his new album, Alejandra, receiving wide critical acclaim. In recent months, José has been working with the legendary flamenco singer Carmen Linares.
Time: 3.30-5.00pm
